It was still dark outside when Neiko awoke within the aravel.   She cast her eyes about the inky blackness; the other young hunters were still asleep.  Wiping the sleep from her eyes she dressed silently, pulling on her leather armour.  From underneath her headrest, Neiko pulled out a hunting knife and two daggers.
